Ekklesia week 3

The third week is upon us and already half way over. Wow! Time has flown by and yet it feels like we just got here. God has been walking very closely with us each day. He has been talking to us about His love and His desire for us to abandon ourselves and allow Him to fully lay hold of us with His Holy Spirit. In Him we are made complete.

In class, we have walked through the gifts of God, Christs gifts to the church, and the gifts of Holy Spirit. We are learning how these gifts belong to Him and are given with a purpose: To edify and build up the body of Christ so the we can attain Unity in Him. Each of us individually have been exploring the depths of who He has called us to be in the body of Christ. It has been an exciting ride...not to mention we have had 3 students ask Holy Spirit to completely fill them and surrender their lives to His leadership. AND several others have been set free in numerous arenas! Praise God for Life and Freedom!!

Throughout the past 2 weeks we have been able to serve within the community at a local lumber yard, serve alongside FBC with the youth ministry, and continue to pour into our facility here at Armored Outreach. The Lord provided a gentlemen who helped fix our long time leaking roof. He came out and spent long hours fixing the roof with a heart of service. We are believing the Lord to bring full provision for this venture because He always provides for our needs. We serve such a loving Father and we are so grateful!

The students have been building relationships with one another that are strengthening us as a whole. Last weekend some of our students served at a local fishing tournament, others served out on tour with Christian band We Are Messengers, while the remaining students spent time in fellowship with one another. Several of these relationships that are built with Him at the foundation will last a lifetime.

This weekend, 4 of our students will be playing in a concert in Springfield, MO. Our campus is driving down to support them and we are expectant for the Lord to show up and impact the environment with His love and His power! Please pray for impact in the Kingdom!
